On reports of this car fire, one appliance from Looe was mobilised, on arrival the crews found that the car was well alight following a road traffic collision, one person was treated at the scene by a passing doctor and then West Country Ambulance personnel. The fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using high pressure hosereels, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel proceeded to give further assistance at the scene. Further details from Devon & Cornwall Police who were in attendance.
