On receipt of this call, appliances from Fowey and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised. On arrival the crews found that the incident involved a van and a lorry, one person was trapped, crews used crash rescue equipment to release the casualty, the main road was closed so that the air ambulance could land. West Country Ambulance were in attendance, also Devon & Cornwall Police, from whom further details may be obtained.
