One fire appliance from Liskeard attended a chimney fire which was well alight. The property was old and had been extended which made the access difficult for firefighting. Crews used ladders and climbed over roofs to gain access to the chimney and then used a hosereel, chimney rods, stirrup pump and small tools to extinguish the fire.

The cause was accidental.
