Firefighters from Truro attended a report of a house that had been damaged, leaving a chimney in a precarious position, following a lightning strike.

The fire crews assisted with making the scene safe by isolating the electricity supply and clearing loose debris from the roof of the two storey property, measuring 10 metres by 10 metres.

There is severe damage to the roof and chimney and the firefighters are assisting the occupants in ensuring the scene is safe.
