Bungalow Struck By Lightning
Crescent Close, off The Crescent, Widemouth Bay, near Bude at 09/09/2011 13:21
Two fire appliances from Bude are attending a detached bungalow that has been struck by lightning, with reports of smoke issuing from the roof.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hosereel have determined that the fire is now out. The loft and roof area are currently being checked for any fire spread.
Occupants were in the bungalow at the time but have not suffered any injury.
