At 1230 this afternoon CFRS received a call to a reported Kitchen fire. 2 appliances from Helston and 1 appliance from Camborne attended the incident. 2 fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus using 1 hose reel extinguished the fire which was confined to a microwave oven. West Country ambulance attended the scene to deal with 1 female casualty suffering from slight smoke inhalation.
