Fire In Chip Fryer

One fire appliance from Newquay and one fire appliance from Truro attended a fire involving a chip fryer in a catering trailer at a car boot sale.
Firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, used a foam fire extinguisher, one hosereel and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident. Gas cylinders were moved to a safe area and were not affected by the fire.
A fire crew remained on scene for a time, to ensure there was no re-ignition.
