On reports of a property on fire, both appliances from Newquay were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a quad bike situated on wooden decking which had been caught alight and involved its covering, further resources were requested and an appliance from St. Columb was mobilised, the fire was extinguished by crews using beaters and sand. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
