Chimney Fire

Appliances from Fowey and Lostwithiel attended a report of a chimney fire. The fire was contained in the chimney of a three storey building measuring approximately twenty metres by forty metres. Firefighters used two hose reels, one jet, a stirrup pump, chimney rods, tools and rope equipment to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera had also been used to ensure the fire was out and to monitor any hot spots.
