Two crews from St Ives attended a call to an oil heating boiler on fire inside a domestic property. On their arrival the building was smoke logged; crews entered the property and extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. The fire was located in a ground floor room and once the fire was out a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the premise. Crews were detained at this incident cutting away and damping down, ensuring the fire had not spread.
