On receipt of this call, one appliance from St. Ives and the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised to this incident, on arrival a casualty was found to be trapped in the vehicle, which had collided with a bus. Police, ambulance and Brigade personnel were at the scene for a considerable time attending the casualty, with Brigade personnel using crash rescue equipment in the release of the casualty, who was flown to hospital by the air ambulance.
