Kit Hill Country Park, Kit Hill at 08/11/2011 11:31
At 1131 this morning the Fire Service received a call to a dog down a shaft in the Country Park at Kit Hill. One appliance from Callington One appliance and the Rescue Tender from Bodmin were mobilised along with two Wholetime Officers.
On arrival of the first appliance the dog was stuck in a 12 foot trench. The crews used a triple extension ladder and belt line to rescue the animal.
