Two fire appliances from St Austell attended a property fire involving a paraffin heater.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and confirmed that the fire was already out. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.
Two people, suffering smoke inhalation and slight burns, were given first aid by firefighters and then left in care of ambulance personnel.
There is no further information available from Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service about this incident.
