Fire crews from Callington, Saltash and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision, where ambulance personnel were requesting the roof be removed to aid in extricating injured casualties.

The fire crews used cutting equipment to remove the roof of a car to extricate one casualty. Assistance was also given to ambulance personnel to remove another casualty from a second vehicle. This was completed by 1610hrs.
