On receipt of this call, the incident was classified as 'Persons Reported', appliances from St. Ives and Camborne were mobilised, on arrival crews reported smoke issuing from a building measuring ten metres by twenty metres comprising of three floors divided into flats, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building with two high pressure hosereels and rescued one casualty, who was treated by attending West Country Ambulance personnel for the effects of slight smoke inhilation, Fire & Rescue personnel proceeded to extinguish the fire. The incident was scaled down and all persons were accounted for at 0015 hours. The cause of the fire was accidental. No further details are available for this incident.
