Appliance from Looe and Liskeard were mobilised to a report of a washing machine on fire this afternoon.
On arrival the crews confirmed that a washing machine had been involved in a fire but was out on their arrival.
Firefighters used a hose reel and positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke from the property.
