Barn Fire
Penstraze, Truro at 18/11/2011 02:24
The Fire Service received a call to a farm in the Penstraze area of Truro to a barn on fire. Two appliances from Truro and a Wholetime Officer were mobilised.
On arrival the crews discovered a barn of 20 m by 10 m with a mechanical loader involved in fire. The crews used 2 breathing apparatus, one hosereel and a hydrant to extinguish the fire. One male casualty was administered oxygen as a precaution due to smoke inhalation and West Country ambulance attended for the casualty.
