Two crews from Callington attended a call to a 54 year old male whose foot had become trapped under a vehicle. The casualty had been working on the vehicle when it came off of a jack pinning the man to the ground. Before the arrival of the Fire and Rescue service, a trolley jack was used by a passing member of the public to release the casualty. Fire crews administered first aid to the casualty until Ambulance paramedics were on scene.
