Two fire appliances from Callington and one fire appliance from Liskeard attended a fire in a bedroom on the first floor of an end-of-terrace property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hosereel extinguished the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear the smoke.
The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
