On receipt of this call, resources from Penzance, Camborne and Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival at the scene crews cleared an area around a 40 metre deep shaft, line rescue equipment was set up and crew were lowered and found a spaniel which was recovered safe and well. Crews were delayed for a time making up their equipment before returning to their home stations.
