Fire Involving Oil-fired Boiler

One fire appliance from St Mawes was mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. On arrival, the fire crew could see smoke issuing from a boiler room. A second fire appliance from St Mawes and one fire appliance from Truro were mobilised.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one jet to quickly extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the boiler room.
