Appliances from Camborne and Redruth attended a report of a fire in an external electricity box at a property in Battery Hill. Firefighters used a CO2 fire extinguisher to put out the flames.
Western Power were also requested to attend to ensure the electricity was safe. There are no further details regarding this incident.
