Fire Involving Tyres

On the initial call for this incident both appliances from St. Just were mobilised, on arrival the crew found a large amount of tyres on fire, further resources were requested and an appliance from Penzance was mobilised, with the assistance of the farmer, the tyres were moved to give easier access for fire personnel who are using high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
