On receipt of this call, appliances from Bude and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, because of the uncertainty of the location a Holsworthy appliance from Devon was mobilised. On arrival crews found a collision between a transit van and a heavy goods vehicle, one person was trapped, crews used crash rescue equipment at the scene to release the casualty. The casualty was treated at the scene along with other casualties by West Country Ambulance personnel, the casualty was transferred to hospital by air ambulance.
