Road Traffic Collision - Car Into River

Two fire appliances from St Dennis, one fire appliance from St Columb, a rescue tender from Bodmin and water rescue units from St Austell and Falmouth were mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision with a car that had come to rest in a river. It was reported that people were in the car and the river. Police and ambulance also responded.
On arrival the fire crews from St Dennis confirmed that the occupants were out of the car and the river and the other fire crews were returned. Two casualties were left in care of ambulance personnel and the fire crews assisted police.
