On receipt of this call, appliances from St. Austell and Fowey were mobilised, the incident was then classified as 'Persons Reported', on arrival crews found a fire within a two storey domestic dwelling involving the ground floor, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel and two main jets, Devon & Cornwall Police and West Country Ambulance were also in attendance.

Update 1807 hours: All persons have now been accounted for and the fire is extinguished, crews are using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke. Several people are requiring rehousing, Cornwall Emergency Management have been contacted and will liase with Police on scene for further details.
The incident has been classified as Arson Suspected. A Fire Investigation Team will meet in the morning to carry out a full investigation.
