Persons Reported Property Fire
West Street, Millbrook, Torpoint at 29/12/2011 17:31
Two crews from Torpoint, and one from both Saltash and Liskeard attended a call to a ‘Persons reported’ property fire on West Street, Millbrook. On arrival at the incident crews tackled a fire in a ground floor bed-sit in a three storey terraced property. Police were requested to close West Street for public safety and to reduce traffic congestion in the area. Fire crews used four breathing apparatus and three hose reels supplied by a hydrant to extinguish the fire. At 18:12 hrs it was confirmed that all persons had been accounted for. Fire crews remained on scene for some time damping down and ventilating the property.
