One fire crew from Camborne is in attendance at a leak of gas from a roadside valve that appears to have been damaged by a car.

Gas engineers are in attendance and are dealing with the leak. The fire crew are checking the surrounding area to ensure members of the public are kept safely away. The police are also in attendance assisting.

Udate at 2215hrs: Gas engineers have successfully isolated the leak and the fire crew have left the scene. Gas engineers will remain at the scene carrying out repairs.
