Gas Leak

On reports of a gas leak, one appliance from St. Ives was mobilised, on arrival the crew reported a large gas leak, a cordon was put into place and Devon & Cornwall Police were requested to evacuate nearby properties, further resources from St. Ives attended and gave further assistance with the evacuation of approximately twenty five properties. A team from Wales & West attended and sealed the leak. Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel stood by and when everything was deemed safe handed the incident over to the gas board.
