Lay-by near the Norway inn, Perranarworthal at 12/01/2012 18:44

At 1746 on the 12th January the Fire and Rescue Service was called to a diesel powered Vauxhall Vectra on fire in a lay-by between Truro and Falmouth near the Norway Inn. One fire appliance from Falmouth community fire station, with 5 crew were mobilised. On arrival the vehicle was discovered to have an electrical fault. The crews assisted by isolating the vehicle's battery. The police were not required at this incident and the crews have now left the scene.
