Appliances from Callington carrying eight firefighters and a back up appliance from Liskeard carrying six were mobilised at 08:15 to a report of a car on fire inside a garage.
On arrival the crew confirmed that there was a small fire in the freezer that spread to the car slightly.
The cause is believed to be accidental and the incident is now closed.
