Fuse Box On Fire

At 0339 on Sunday 22nd January the Fire Service was called to a smell of burning coming from an unoccupied cottage in Fore Street, Marazion. Two appliances responded, one from Penzance and one from St Ives. On arrival a fire was found in an internal electrical fuse box. One hosereel, 2 breathing apparatus and a thermal image camera were used to extinguish the fire. Western Power were called to make the electrical installation safe.
