Person Stuck Inside Lift

An appliance from Liskeard carrying six firefighters was called to the library at 13:29 by staff reporting that one male was stuck in the lift. On arrival the crews confirmed that a male was stuck in the lift which was in between the floors. Several unsuccessful attempts to contact an engineer were made by the library leaving the crew to manually manoeuvre the lift using small tools to release the gentleman. The lift has now been isolated until an engineer can attend and the incident is closed.
