At 07:46 this morning a call was placed to Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service reporting a road traffic collision with persons trapped.
An applianace from Truro carrying six firefighters and the Rescue Tender from Camborne carrying six firefighters confirmed on arrival the collision involved three vehicles with two persons trapped.
Crash rescue equipment was used to quickly release all persons who were then passed to the care of the Ambulance Service.
The Truro appliance crew is remaining on scene making the vehicles safe for a short period of time.
