On receipt of this call, appliances from Redruth and Camborne were mobilised, on arrival firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hosereel were committed to a smoke filled bungalow, the fire was in the kitchen and involved an appliance left on the cooker. The positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the premises. One person was treated at the scene by South West Ambulance Trust personnel for the effects of smoke inhilation. The cause was accidental.
