Carbon Monoxide Detector Actuation

One fire appliance from Newquay Community Fire Station and a specialist hazardous materials officer attended a carbon monoxide detector actuation. A gas detector was used and traces of carbon monoxide were found. A cooker was isolated and the incident left for engineers to deal with. An occupant was checked over by a paramedic in case they had inhaled the carbon monoxide.
