On receipt of this call, stating that persons were trapped, appliances from St. Austell and St. Dennis also the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival it was confirmed that one person was trapped at the incident, which involved two vehicles, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel used crash rescue equipment at the scene to release the casualty, who was conveyed to hospital by the air ambulance. Also in attendance were South West Ambulance personnel and Devon & Cornwall Police.
