On receipt of this call both appliances from Truro were mobilised, on arrival at the scene, smoke was seen to be issuing from a two storey end of terrace house, the fire was confirmed in the kitchen on the ground floor, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire, the thermal image camera and positive pressure fan was also used at the scene. An ambulance was requested to treat two casualties for the effects of smoke inhalation. A fire investigation will be taking place.
