At 06:31 this morning Cornwall Fire Control received a call to a property with smoke coming from it in Widemouth Bay. Two appliances carrying 12 crew from Bude and a Flexi-duty Officer were mobilised immediately. On their arrival at 0641hrs Bude crews passed the message that the house was well alight and using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel. The bungalow involved measured 10 x 10 meters and at 0707hrs crews were using six breathing apparatus to remove tiles from the roof to expose the rafters. A hydrant was in use supplying water to the incident ground.
