One appliance from Penzance was mobilised to this incident, on arrival the crew found a large area of gorse burning on a 150 metre front, high pressure hosereels and beaters were used to control the fire and leave it burn to a natural break, the fire was under control by 1545 hours, a total of 8 hectares was destroyed by fire.
