On the initial call received for this incident, one appliance from Penzance was mobilised, on arrival at the scene there was found to be a commercial shed measuring four by two metres well alight, further resources were requested and an appliance from Penzance attended, an unknown cylinder involved in the fire vented itself to open air, the fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hosereel, a jet was also used at the scene. Devon & Cornwall Police closed the road in the area for a time. Arson is suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police will be making further enquiries.
