Carbon Monoxide Detector

The Glebe, Camborne at 21/02/2012 00:58

At 0058 hours this morning the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to a report of a smoke alarm sounding. 2 crews from Camborne attended and an officer. On their arrival crews found that it was the carbon monoxide detector sounding and the cause for this was that the grill had been switched on but not ignited, the fumes setting off the alarms. The property was ventilated and made safe by the crews.
