Small Fire Involving Washing Machine
Bridges, Luxulyan, between St Austell and Lostwithiel at 03/03/2012 09:25
One fire appliance from St Austell Community Fire Station and one fire appliance from Lostwithiel Community Fire Station attended a report of a washing machine on fire in a cottage.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hosereel and a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. Smoke was then cleared from the cottage using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
