Chimney Fire

Two crews of eleven from Truro were mobilised to reports of flames coming from a properties roof on Bosvigo road. On crews arrival it was established the property had a chimney fire. The chimney involved was difficult, fire crews used a 13.5 metre ladder to access the roof. A triple extension ladder was used internally to access the roof space where an inspection was carried out using a thermal imaging camera. Fire crews used a chimney kit, stirrup pump and rods to extinguish the fire.
