On receipt of this call, appliances from Redruth and Camborne were mobilised to the incident, on arrival crews were confronted with a fire involving a roof extension of a bungalow, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel and a main jet at the scene to extinguish the fire. Crews were delayed for some time cutting away and checking the area.
