Fire Involving Derelict Portable Building

One fire appliance from Camborne Community Fire Station attended an abandoned call to smoke in the vicinity of Gladys Holman House.
The crew of five firefighters found a derelict portable building well alight and got to work to extinguish the fire using two hosereels and two sets of breathing apparatus.
The fire was under control by 1630hrs. Arson is suspected and Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
