One fire appliance from Launceston Community Fire Station attended and the crew of six firefighters assisted ambulance personnel on scene with a patient. The patient was suffering a medical condition that was making it difficult for the ambulance crew to remove them from the car that they were in.

In a joint effort by fire and ambulance crews the patient was removed from the vehicle and was left in care of the ambulance personnel.

There is no further information available from the fire service in relation to the condition of the patient.
