At 05:30 hrs this morning a number of 999 calls were received by Cornwall Fire Control to a reported shed on fire. On receipt of the calls two major appliances were mobilised from Redruth with six and Camborne with five crew. On crews arrival an assistance message of ‘make pumps three’ was received and the message of a large agricultural building measuring 12 x 8 metres on fire was passed. A third appliance from Camborne with five crew was mobilised. Fire crews are using one ground monitor, one main jet, one hose reel and four breathing apparatus at this time.

Final update: One appliance from Camborne is remaining on scene for approximately 30 minutes damping down using water from a hydrant.
