Chimney Fire In Thatched Roof Premise

Two crews from Camborne attended a call to a chimney fire in a premise with a thatched roof. Fire crews used chimney rods, a short extension ladder and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. One hose reel was used as a precaution to damp down the thatch as the chimney fire was being extinguished.
