Gorse Fire

A total of 10 crew on two appliances from St Keverne attended a call to a gorse fire on Lowland Point this evening. Crews tackled two seperate areas of fire, one fire covering half an hectare and the second covering one hectare of gorse. The gorse fire was being fanned by winds but good progress was made using beaters and one hose reel.
